Now talking about the gameplay moves like shooting, fighting and rest of the things are simple and straightforward which creates a very smooth gameplay experience. Player will have choice of different weapons such as Thompson submachine gun, Colt1911, MP 40, the M3 submachine gun MG 42 and berretta model 38. A map is included as in the original mafia game. The check point system has been changed completely compared to the original Mafia. New controls allow you to hide behind objects to shoot enemies, rather than just using a crouch while behind an object. Another thing is you will find gaps in the gameplay where player can move around the city which is simply incredible experience.
The graphics looks really good, which explores the creativity of the 2K Czech team; they have paid lot of attention towards the drafting of each character in the game. The Empire Bay and the characters live and breathe visually as the story progresses. The audio and background music is well done along with the visual effects. Listening to Mafia 2’s radio stations is also a treat, since they are playing with great songs from 1950’s era to help set the mood.
On the whole, Mafia 2 is a decent experience; both good and bad make mafia 2 what it is. If any of it was different, it would be another boring shooter. Install Instructions
1. Download all parts from one box and use Winrar or 7zip to extract them. You will get a ISO file.
2. Use Daemon tools lite to mount the ISO or Burn it on a DVD
3. Install the game.
4. Download the crackfix from any one the links given on download page
5. Extract the crackfix with Winrar and copy all the files to the /pc/ folder in Program Files of Mafia 2 and overwrite if any files exist already.
6. Play the game

anyone wondering what the gameplay is like its probably the most gripping realistic city open world environment i’ve seen the scale of it isn’t massive its average but the game uses the quality not quantity saying quite well its full of little random stuff like if your walking the streets look down an ally you might see a bum then a rat scurrying along. TRUELY AMAZING. (Just incase anyone wasn’t sure)

Seems I’ve been starting the luncher not the game.exe… sleepy me … works fine now
so far so good. I’m on chap 9.
I installed the game, copied all the files from the SKIDROW folder to the game main directory. When I try to start the game, the splash screen appears and while entering the game, it just shuts down. No error message or anything.
Does anybody have any ideas why is this happening?
